The day started out like any other; a boat offering a day at sea fishing, swimming, scuba diving, sunbathing. To those who bought tickets it seemed like a small piece of paradise in an otherwise bland existence. However the rip back would prove not only dangerous but strange.
As the ship headed back towards the dock that evening they passed by an island nobody had noticed. It was covered with a thick forest, The beach lined in rocks. A large house sat atop a large hill overlooking the water. It looked as though it was a privately owned island paradise. The boast approached what looked to be rocks sticking out of the water. The passengers remarking they seemed way to close to shore, but the boat came to a stop. Surely the captain had seen the rocks, and was stopping to maneuver the boat away. 30 minuets passed, and no sign of the captain or crew showed. A few of the passengers made their way to the helm only to discover the captain and crew were not there. A further investigation of the ship revealed the same. The had simly vanished. No life boats were missing, but still thy passengers told themselves they had simply went to get help of some kind.
The passengers took to bed that night telling themselves help would arrive the next morning. They all reassured themselves that nothing was off about the situation, but upon waking the next morning they found nothing about the event was normal. Especially when none of them remembered leaving the ship and swimming to shore., and then there was the boat. It had simply vanished. Had the captain and crew abandoned them on the island and left? Or had the ship sunk in the night, and they had all floated ashore safely? It seemed an unlikely answer, but the alternative was just as unlikely.
